Finally got back in the Go Kart with Dad, Brian, Eric, and Doug over at Fontana Speedway. It had been a few years since I have been able to get out on the outdoor track. I forgot how much fun it is. The more fun also means they are really fast, up to 60 mph or so. Erin came along and braved the heat and the smell of the County dump a few miles away. She was nervous and stressed that I would hurt myself.
At one point another racer cut me off in a turn. I had to just slam on the brakes to spin out and I closed my eyes waiting for impact. Luckily no impact with other driver or sidewall.
Hopefully, I can go out a little more. For $30 you can race for as long as you want. Pretty fun.... just so hard to type and use my forearms after hanging on...
