Trying to find Ryan a bat

This last Friday night we spent with our friends Ryan and Katie and went about as Ryan really, really really wanted a baseball bat. Before we would start our trek, we needed to stock up on rally good food. Panera is the best place to go because everything is SO good.

Across the street from Panera is Costco. We thought since it was Baseball season still, somewhat, we would be able to find something. While we did manage to buy some gifts for Juan and Audrey's new baby, the only thing close to baseball we found were wholesale Dodgers tickets.

Another unexpected by at Walmart was when I bought an ipod. It will be mainly for educational purposes and luckily Erin signed off on it, with the stipulation that mom is going to help pay for it. Still no baseball bats.

At Sport Chalet we found BATS!!! Only they cost around $100, and those are for the cheaper ones. That was above Ryan's budget, so he got a dozen baseballs instead.

Erin somehow broke the trim on their car door, but Ryan will fix it after he fixes his large, medium, and little trucks.

Erin found her next automobile purchase. No registration or insurance required.

Who doesn't like to end up and Barnes and Noble looking at magazines and other "SELF HELP" books. We had a good time as we kept trying to stall Ryan from going to other places to try and find a bat. AND WE WERE SUCCESSFUL. Towards the end of the night we went to see Juan and Audrey's baby Natalie. Audrey's parents were gracious enough to share some holding time but with the ever so watchful new grandparent eye. SHE is so CUTE with here super long arms. Pics should be up later.

June Midway

June put Erin and I past seven months of being happily in love with each other and we look forward to each new day. June has also brought the taxing attention needed for finals and summer preparations. Some where in there, I kept getting an urge to find a place to live NOW! A number of places are offering great SUMMER MOVE IN SPECIALS but I need to be patient. We are hoping to pick out a place in late July and move in sometime in August to get a place situated before summer quarter finals and something about a wedding in the beginning of September.
Oh yeah, the wedding. Well due to some planning conflicts, at the moment, we are thinking about having our reception a week later. Stake conference trumps a wedding reception in San Bernardino. But we want to accommodate so we are opting to move our reception to the following week rather than asking people to choose us over stake conference. Some people are having a hard time with that, but we see it as an opportunity to enjoy the Wedding day with Family and Friends from out of town and then a week later to relax and have a little party with people from around the area. Hopefully most will agree. Besides that, everything else is going very smoothly. Erin is lighitng up with joy everytime we walk by some cute wedding decorations or see something she wants. Lately, she is working on finishing touches on the wedding annoucement. Ribbons, pictures, stamps, quotes, and more for annoucements. I am so grateful that she is choosing to do this with such little help from me.
We aren't quite sure what to do for fun because or Disneyland passes are now being blacked out and the weather isn't really copperating to let us go to the beach. So hopefully we will have some more adventures to post about soon!!!!
